Kristen Deibele is the first employee to join the WRTS Westford team as General Manager. She has been involved in every step of the dreaming and planning process to open WRTS Westford. Kristen brings decades of experience working with and advocating for special needs and neurodiverse children and adults. Before joining WRTS she spent 11 years in the public school system as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant working with kids from PK-8th grade, many of whom are neurodivergent. Before entering the school system, she worked in adult day programs, job coaching and supporting meaningful recreation for adults with special needs. In her late teens and early twenties, she worked alongside parents of autistic children, providing direct care and support in the child’s home and worked on skill building in their communities. She is also the aunt of two neurodivergent children, who happen to be the children of owners Sam and Matt O’Brien! She is excited for the opportunity to be part of a family run and family centric business. When she’s not at the gym, you can find Kristen creating in her home pottery studio, or adventuring with her husband Steve.
