Halloween: Table or Treat
Something for the whole family at this event! This special event is designed specifically for families with children with disabilities (and their siblings) who would benefit from extra opportunities to practice for Halloween in a welcoming, understanding environment. This event is also a Resource Fair for the adults, who are always looking to add support and resources to their village! This event will be indoors, so there is nothing dark and scary and the weather does not have to impact your comfortable costume choices!
This is not an Open Play session: Much of the smaller play items will be put away, and the zip line and trampoline will be unavailable. We will have some festive designated activities in our Party Room! The swings will be available, however many of our Table or Treat stations will be in the main gym. The children will go trick or treating at each table, and parents are welcome to collect resources and chat with providers. The “Rock Shop” will also be blocked off and retail sales will not be available during the event. In true Kids Gym fashion, we will still ask our families to remove their shoes in the lobby and wear socks on the Gym floor.
