We Rock The Spectrum Westford is owned and operated by the O’Brien Family. Matt, Sam, Liam and Cody live in nearby Groton Massachusetts with their dog and many chickens. Sam is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Matt owns and operates two businesses for their family. The O’Briens have been learning what it means to be a neurodivergent family since 2015. They are among the millions of families who are learning about their own wiring as they learn about their own children’s neurotypes. They are passionate about bringing Neurodiversity Affirming practices into their communities.
The We Rock The Spectrum franchise is a perfect match for the O’Brien family. The mission of inclusion and learning through sensory play has the potential to truly move autism acceptance forward in the Westford community, and far beyond. The gym is specifically targeted to soothe and regulate children who may otherwise be overwhelmed in other play spaces. At We Rock The Spectrum Westford, you will learn what it means to Play With a Purpose™ and we sincerely hope that you come to feel that our gym is “Finally a Place Where You Never Have to Say I’m Sorry.”®
The vision for We Rock The Spectrum Westford is to become a play and learning hub for all neurodivergent families. The O’Briens hope that the gym will attract people at all stages of their autism journey, in addition to families who wish to learn about how important sensory development is for every child. Their vision is to have a strong community that comes together for Open Play, classes, affinity groups, social opportunities, support groups, and drop-off events. The goal of the gym is to provide opportunities for play to all children of all abilities, while educating the community of the importance of inclusive practices for all neurodivergent people.
We can’t wait to rock with you all!
